Volunteer Opportunities

Peer Support Volunteers

Our Peer Support Volunteers (PSVs) are the backbone of SeniorsNL. PSVs are seniors themselves who serve as the organization’s frontline, answering our phone lines with care and compassion.

A Peer Support Volunteer is a senior - they get it.

If you are a senior who wants to make a difference in the life of a senior, volunteering as a Peer Support Volunteer might be a great fit for you!

Friends of SeniorsNL

Friends of SeniorsNL is an intergenerational opportunity for people of any age to engage a whole community in the well-being and independence of older adults.

As a Friend of SeniorsNL, you'll receive personalized business cards and the opportunity to help at health fairs and events in your community, as well as with presentations.

Bring these cards with you when attending events in your community or nearby areas. You never know when someone might mention they’re looking for support or information—this is your perfect opportunity to share what SeniorsNL offers.

Every conversation counts. Every card or brochure shared helps us reach more people who may need our support.

Resource Management Volunteers

We have the most comprehensive database for seniors in the province. Volunteers help to ensure this information is current and accurate.

If you are detail-oriented, and enjoy connecting with people, we would like to talk to you.You don’t have to be a senior to make a huge difference in their lives.

Reach out if this feels like you.
