Violence Prevention Gander and Area (VPGA), is one of ten regional coordinating committees that work to increase awareness of all forms of violence. VPGA spans the Gander New Wes Valley region, NL. This non-profit, voluntary committee meets regularly to address violence at its source and increase awareness around issues relating to violence through education, public awareness, training, inter-agency programs and initiatives that address issues of violence and abuse.
