MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM (CORNER BROOK REGION)

Mobile Crisis Response Team members are sent into the community to help someone who is experiencing a crisis.

Teams are usually available from 10 am to 10 pm by calling: 811 Health Line.
811 (the Mental Health Crisis Line has moved to the 811 Health Line – 811 will answer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)

Can also access through the Local Royal Newfoundland Constabulary RNC detachment

ACCESS: Text and Video Relay Service (VRS) line are available for individuals who may be hard-of hearing, identify as having communication disability, or are Deaf.
For texting, download the 811 NL HealthLine app in Apple and Google Play app stores
VRS number is 1-888-834-1252

The Corner Brook team is also expanded to include the Bay of Islands, communities west to Gallants, and to communities east, including Deer Lake.
Communities Served: Corner Brook, Cox’s Cove, Deer Lake, Gillams, Hughes Brook, Humber Arm South*, Lark Harbour, Irishtown-Summer-side, McIvers, Meadows, Mount Moriah, Pasadena, Steady Brook, York Harbour * Humber Arm South- includes Halfway Point, Benoit’s Cove, John’s Beach and Frenchman’s Cove)
